 7 things to do while shifting into new house:

   I recently moved into new apartment. Its bigger place then my previous one. Each time, I move into new apartment I face many problems. So, I made small checklist which I go through before moving out.

Checklist goes as following: 

1) Clean your old apartment:

Before you move into new apartment make sure you have cleaned your one. Make sure you have cleaned it properly. This will have positive impact on your previous owner.Owner will return your security deposit without deductions.

2) Checklist: 

You can prepare list on your luggage. Go through the list before you go for transportation so that you don't miss any item. Once you reach at new accommodation once again check the list just to make sure you have everything as it is as it was before.

3) Mode of transportation:

Select transportation based on your luggage size. Make sure that it is enough for your luggage. The vehicle should not be too big as it will unnecessarily increase transportation cost neither it should be smaller one as your belongings may get damage or you would end up making more trips.

4) Food:

Carry food and other supplies with you . As you are moving to new place you are definitely not cook on very same day of shifting you would be very busy unpacking . You can also order food online.

5) Hygiene:

Before you unpack have look over the place. Clean place properly. Wash bathroom and toilet s before you use them. 

6) Unpacking:

To avoid extra efforts before you unpack decide the spot for furniture and other stuff. Then according to spot unpack and arrange them. This will save you time. 

Note: While you pack your stuff back make sure you have categorized and packed accordingly.

7) Know your place:

You should know the nearest hospital , medical , police station and fire station located near your house. Just to be prepared for emergencies. So before moving to new place collect information for same.
